Vanessa is the Group Managing Director of Nan Fung Development Ltd., managing the Group’s global real estate development portfolio.She is also the Founder of The Mills – a revitalization project of transforming the Nan Fung Textile Mills into a global innovation techstyle destination comprising of art, start-up incubator and experiential retail. She currently spearheads the Group’s SEWIT framework, which stands for social cohesion, environmental sustainability, wellness, innovation and technology. Along with her experience in working for AECOM as a Landscape Designer and a part-time lecturer at University of Hong Kong on City Branding, she hopes to inspire the younger generation and unlock Hong Kong’s leadership potential beyond the status quo.She is a convener of NarrativeHK, an initiative promoting positive attitude among her generation in envisioning the future of HK. She is the co-owner of HK’s first CrossFit gym Asphodel Fitness and Performance.Vanessa obtained her Degree of Doctor of Philosophy at City University of Hong Kong, Master in Landscape Architecture at Harvard University and Bachelors in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Billy Hui is the Director of The Mills and oversees the strategic priorities of its three pillars including The Mills Fabrica. He also holds multiple key positions in Nan Fung Group as Executive Director of Hong Kong Property Division, Director of the Group CEO’s Office, and Executive Assistant to the Group Managing Director, focusing on managing the Group’s real estate businesses and financial investments across the globe with key markets in Hong Kong, China, UK and US. He also leads the Group’s ESG and impact strategies with particular focus on community building and innovation acceleration. Prior to joining the Group in 2013, he worked in Morgan Stanley and focused on managing divisional and cross-border operational issues.With extensive experience in core industries and markets as well as major expertise in organizational, operational and people management, Billy leads Fabrica’s holistic development across key verticals to achieve its vision of accelerating innovations for sustainability.

Cintia Nunes is the General Manager - Head of The Mills Fabrica Asia, leading the team to become the go-to platform for sustainability, impact and innovation in techstyle (technology x lifestyle) and agrifood tech space via Fabrica’s investment portfolio, incubation programme, interactive spaces and it’s environmental and social impact accountability.Prior to joining Fabrica, Cintia worked in strategy, insights and marketing at an FMCG multinational company where she focused on assessing consumer behaviour insights and formalizing business strategies for more than 10 brands. She then pivoted to a Series A apparel startup where she helped drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retail and customer experience. Subsequently, she joined one of the social impact led platform where she helped to pivot its business model, soon making it one of the prominent ecosystem builders in Hong Kong through advocacy, bridging of resources and strategic partnerships.With strong passion in driving social impact and systemic change, she is a strong advocate in cross-sector collaborations. She holds a BSc Economics degree from the University College London.

Amy Tsang manages The Mills Fabrica’s UK & Europe business and operations, supporting innovators across the textiles/apparel and agrifood tech industries, and building impactful partnerships while growing their community of brands, corporates, VCs, academic institutions and NGOs. Verena Kan joined The Mills Fabrica to overlook Fabrica X, a go-to Impact Retail store that places education, experiential and sustainable retail as its core pillars – with the ambition of becoming an avenue to educate, inspire and motivate the public to live more sustainably in Hong Kong.  Verena curates to showcase innovative brands within techstyle and agrifood industry such that Fabrica X becomes one’s first step towards a lifelong journey of change.  Prior to joining The Mills Fabrica, Verena worked in the textiles industry specializing in knitted textiles to develop more sustainable alternatives. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London and a Master of Social Sciences in Corporate Environmental Governance.

Jennifer supports the company’s UK operations and curates events for the industry and community. She also focuses on growing the company’s ecosystem by fostering and nurturing relationships with partners and meeting with startups. Prior to joining, she worked for a sustainable fashion consultancy, leading the company’s journey to achieve B Corp Pending certification and assisting on a White Paper co-authored with the British Fashion Council. Jennifer’s call to action is climate justice and working towards an industry that empowers and celebrates the people at the heart of our supply chains.  She holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from the Russel Group institution, Queen Mary University of London.

Hermione joined The Mills Fabrica in June 2022 as part of the Membership Team. She supports the daily running of the coworking space, being the first point of contact for members and visitors. Hermione deals with all membership enquiries from tours to onboarding to ensure a smooth and happy welcome into our community. She also assists with event space and bookings from enquiry stage through to execution. Hermione holds a Professional PA and Business Diploma from Oxford Media & Business School.
