The Mills Fabrica is once again an official nominator for the Global Change Award 2027 - and the entry point for changemakers who would like their ideas considered for nomination.

The Global Change Award works with an extensive global network of nominators to help identify the most outstanding early-stage changemakers working to transform the textile industry.

By submitting a proposal through this platform, you are asking The Mills Fabrica to consider your idea for nomination to the Global Change Award 2027. This is your opportunity to make an official nominator aware of your innovation and its potential to advance through the Global Change Award selection process.

As a contributing partner to the Global Change Award, The Mills Fabrica is excited to discover bold ideas with the potential to drive meaningful change across the textile value chain.

ABOUT THE GLOBAL CHANGE AWARD:

The Global Change Award is a global innovation challenge launched by H&M Foundation in 2015 to accelerate innovation that can help transform the textile industry.

Every year, ten changemakers from around the world are selected to receive funding, support and access to a global network designed to help turn bold ideas into impactful solutions.

The Global Change Award is looking for early-stage innovations with the potential to help the textile industry halve its greenhouse gas emissions every decade, reaching net-zero by 2050.

WHAT WINNERS RECEIVE:

Every year, ten winners are selected and gain:

1. A year-long Changemaker Programme

Designed together with strategic partners Accenture and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and contributing partner The Mills Fabrica, the Changemaker Programme combines immersive in-person experiences, expert guidance and access to a global network of fellow changemakers.

2. €200,000 grant and global recognition

Each winner receives a €200,000 grant, with no strings attached. Winners retain full ownership of their ideas and are free to collaborate with whomever they choose.

In addition, winners are introduced to the industry on a global stage at the Global Change Award Summit and celebrated at Stockholm City Hall, home of the Nobel Prize banquet.

3. Access to the industry and the GCA community

Winners join a growing network of innovators, researchers, brands, suppliers, investors and industry experts. Through the Global Change Award community, connections are actively facilitated to help ideas develop, test and scale.
