Have you ever wondered how worn, ripped jeans could be transformed into something fresh and fashionable? Join our exclusive Upcycled Sanrio characters-themed Denim Cardholder Workshop at Fabrica X, where you’ll give deadstock denim a new lease on life by crafting a unique cardholder that perfectly fits your personal style perfectly!
Participants will transform recycled denim into unique cardholders, decorating them with popular Sanrio characters—Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, or Hello Kitty—and a variety of motifs. You’ll gain hands-on experience crafting with practical skills and innovative upcycling techniques, learning how to revitalise worn denim and help reduce textile waste—all while enjoying a creative session with fellow makers.

Workshop Rundown:
- Select denim fabric and preferred Sanrio character (5 mins)
- Heat press transfer stickers onto denim (20-25 mins)
- Sew cardholder (20-30 mins)
- Assemble cardholder with button and rivets (10 mins)
- Upcycled denim introduction and “Denim Futures” tour (20 mins)
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made after reservation or no show will not receive any refund or transfer.
- A full refund (less the administration fee) will only be made if the event is cancelled by The Mills Fabrica or does not take place due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather.
- The Mills Fabrica reserves the right to reschedule the event due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather. Alternatively, a full refund (less the administration fee) can be made.
- In case of any disputes, the decision of The Mills Fabrica shall be final.
Special arrangement for bad weather
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning, is in effect at 12:00 pm, all workshops scheduled for that day will be cancelled and either rescheduled or refunded. If these signals are cancelled before 12:00 pm on the event day, the workshops will proceed as planned.
