For every 1 million pairs of jeans washed: HMS reduces water usage by 32%, saving over 14 million liters of water; additionally, HMS reduces energy use by over 179,000 kWh by eliminating the need to heat water—equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 17 U.S. households.

HMS not only solves the waste issue—where 1kg of pumice creates 3kg of sludge (or 1,800 tons of sludge per 1 million pairs of jeans)—but also requires no additional infrastructure, making it easy for manufacturers to adopt.
