Forgotten Souls

Forgotten Souls is a collection inspired by the resilience and struggles of the homeless community. Through layering, deconstruction, and the repurposing of found objects, the designs reflect themes of survival, resourcefulness, and identity. Muted tones of gray and beige are contrasted with accents of green, symbolizing a fragile but persistent sense of hope. The collection challenges perceptions of beauty by transforming discarded materials into garments that speak of strength, dignity, and humanity.

This outfit embodies the core layering theme of the collection, combining hoodie-inspired elements with deconstructed garments. The use of Tyvek creates a patchwork-like effect, evoking the idea of protective armor built from what is available. A bold pair of green pants contrasts against muted gray outerwear, symbolizing hope amid hardship. The gray pants showcase a deconstructed, layered silhouette characterised by voluminous folds, suggesting rugged utility and resilience. Keychains attached to the gloves reference found objects, symbolising resourcefulness, practicality, and personal significance.
