Palgae develops algae-based, sustainable and biodegradable bioplastic pellets fora agricultural applications.
Our time to prepare the minimum viable product (MVP) for the agricultural usage of our raw materials is running out quickly. So far, Faber Castell pens made from Palgae raw material have a carbon footprint that is 33% lower than average. We have just completed research into the production of bioplastic raw materials that reduce emissions from agricultural plastic coverings and other uses by 87%. In order to move this forward, we have already found a production partner and are in the process of filing a patent. Meanwhile, we’ve boosted our supply capacity and inked an arrangement to cover our mass needs for algae. We will undertake the first testing of our agricultural product in a real agricultural field after we finish the pre-seed investment round, grow the team, and announce the results.
