在新冠肺炎疫情期间,各国政府为了控制病毒传播,实施限制近距离聚集的措施,遥距工作的安排也因此被广泛采纳。对各行业领袖来说,这对有效管理公司内部沟通无疑是巨大的挑战。公司不但转用数码化工具作为企业的传播方式,也重新构想不同方式转型,让他们得以适应新的需求,并在当中生存下来。在这个过程中,帮助人力资源和员工装备好合适的工具和知识,以用作建立日後的技能,乃各机构的重要任务。

於2020年4月16日举办的《在不稳定时期领导与学习》网络研讨会中,Alvanon行政总裁王静怡及MOTIF行政总裁Catherine Cole指出,保持员工实力和提升他们能力非常重要,因为这可以帮助他们在动盪不安的时代持续创新。

1. 审视公司现时架构

突破公司的现时的营运方式,能够给公司一个机会重新审视他们内部的弱点。想要生存便要对现有的资源作长期规划;如若管理层想整家公司一同推进改变,便需要挽留人才、建立保护员工的心态,向他们提供最好的技能和机会。王静怡建议管理层在这个时期该思考如何数码化公司、减少多馀的流程,并审视如何利用现有的技能改变公司现况。

2. 让员工参与改变过程

认清公司工作流程中的不足,是规划生存策略的重中之重。领袖和管理人员可透过由下而上的方式 —— 特别是跟每天在工作中需接触各类难题的员工沟通,从而找出局部层面的根本需要。

Alvanon自2001年成立以来,借助著合作的文化不断演进。管理层一直跟员工开心见诚讨论公司的弱点和未来发展方向。Alvanon的管理层采取「授权员工」(employee empowerment)的策略,鼓励他们分享技能,并且用来帮助整个价值链转型。管理层需要聆听员工的想法和需求,而非由上而下指示团队该如何工作,才可以有效向他们提供指导,并藉此辅助公司改革。

3. 借助网上学习工具辅助员工

对领袖和管理层而言,构想未来必须借助员工的技能,并为他们配备迎合数码化世界的最新技术。为员工提供网上学习工具,可更有效地达到这个目标。王静怡指出,Alvanon帮助员工从平面的手动工作,转为利用立体化的编程工具。3D转型和进行虚拟合身测试等培训课程,对现今的时装行业可谓息息相关。而这也是Alvanon示範作为一家可持续事业,如何长期在员工身上投资。
