在新冠肺炎疫情期间，各国政府为了控制病毒传播，实施限制近距离聚集的措施，遥距工作的安排也因此被广泛采纳。对各行业领袖来说，这对有效管理公司内部沟通无疑是巨大的挑战。公司不但转用数码化工具作为企业的传播方式，也重新构想不同方式转型，让他们得以适应新的需求，并在当中生存下来。在这个过程中，帮助人力资源和员工装备好合适的工具和知识，以用作建立日後的技能，乃各机构的重要任务。

於2020年4月16日举办的《在不稳定时期领导与学习》网络研讨会中，Alvanon行政总裁王静怡及MOTIF行政总裁Catherine Cole指出，保持员工实力和提升他们能力非常重要，因为这可以帮助他们在动盪不安的时代持续创新。

1. 审视公司现时架构

突破公司的现时的营运方式，能够给公司一个机会重新审视他们内部的弱点。想要生存便要对现有的资源作长期规划；如若管理层想整家公司一同推进改变，便需要挽留人才、建立保护员工的心态，向他们提供最好的技能和机会。王静怡建议管理层在这个时期该思考如何数码化公司、减少多馀的流程，并审视如何利用现有的技能改变公司现况。

2. 让员工参与改变过程

认清公司工作流程中的不足，是规划生存策略的重中之重。领袖和管理人员可透过由下而上的方式 —— 特别是跟每天在工作中需接触各类难题的员工沟通，从而找出局部层面的根本需要。

Alvanon自2001年成立以来，借助著合作的文化不断演进。管理层一直跟员工开心见诚讨论公司的弱点和未来发展方向。Alvanon的管理层采取「授权员工」（employee empowerment）的策略，鼓励他们分享技能，并且用来帮助整个价值链转型。管理层需要聆听员工的想法和需求，而非由上而下指示团队该如何工作，才可以有效向他们提供指导，并藉此辅助公司改革。

3. 借助网上学习工具辅助员工

对领袖和管理层而言，构想未来必须借助员工的技能，并为他们配备迎合数码化世界的最新技术。为员工提供网上学习工具，可更有效地达到这个目标。王静怡指出，Alvanon帮助员工从平面的手动工作，转为利用立体化的编程工具。3D转型和进行虚拟合身测试等培训课程，对现今的时装行业可谓息息相关。而这也是Alvanon示範作为一家可持续事业，如何长期在员工身上投资。
