Ferticlay, as its name suggests, combines two concept of materials together, making a hybrid material with both fertilising and clay properties. Thus, our product line consists of different materials and products in the whole spectrum of fertiliser to clay, made for different specific purposes individually for use cases in green infrastructure (ferti-bricks), agriculture (ferti-pods) as well as built environment reinforcements (wall plasters and insulation layers).

To make such high quality products, we utilise mid-stream waste from industrial supply chains of F&B manufacturing, such as seafood shells, nut kernels, eggshells and paper waste. Made from 100% waste materials and undergoing through tests to prove carbon negativity currently, Ferticlay products is made with proprietary methodologies by combining waste products with neutral mediums to repurpose the waste for higher value use cases, attaining a circular economy model. Due to natural ingredients only within our materials, we could bio-engineer product capabilities like nutrient transport speed and quality as well as biodegradability of up to 90% within a set period of time, making our clay useful for short-term uses with minimal waste left at end of life.

Our business model is unique as we charge industrial giants within the supply chain to extract midstream waste of high quality while we place ourselves within the heart of several manufacturing zones to reduce our operation costs in Java, Indonesia. Within our operations, we strive to hire marginalised groups such as people with disabilities and single mothers to provide employment opportunities and empowerment through upskilling within our cloud factories. This also lower our operational costs to a minimum.

With a lean business model and a superior clay product for hidden industrial use cases, Ferticlay strives to disrupt the construction industry with a superior material play.
