The role

As Events and Marketing Assistant, you will be instrumental in planning and executing events and ensuring the smooth running of our business, across our different functions.

You will be responsible for:

Events and Marketing

  • Curation of yearly event strategy and program internally (The Mills Fabrica event space) and externally (Global events/conferences/tradeshows e.g COP27, The Sustainable Angle, Biofabricate)
  • Event coordination - from planning and organisation right down to execution including assisting with content creation, liaising with speakers, creating and sending invitations to guests, managing RSVPs, arranging catering and other event logistics
  • Supporting external clients hiring our events space and assisting where needed and responding to enquiries
  • Social media content support


  • Processing monthly invoices for suppliers and reimbursement of expenses
  • Creating and issuing invoices to members and external parties
  • Maintaining and managing the company’s databases, for suppliers and invoices
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in events and marketing related-role
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong execution of tasks and resolving problems swiftly
