This is an exciting, fast-paced role that offers broad exposure to business development, sales and marketing functions and the opportunity to contribute significantly to a core function of the business. You will be involved in driving B2B business development and sales efforts for The Supplant Company’s flagship ingredient, Supplant™ sugars from fiber. The role will require sourcing new customers as well as supporting with management of existing accounts, primarily US-based and multinational CPG brands.



  • Complete sales cycle management, including: prospecting, arranging and supporting ingredient trials, contract negotiations, and planning product launches in conjunction with our marketing team
  • Relationship and project management with both new and existing accounts
  • Providing outstanding customer service by educating customers about the ingredient and providing technical support throughout their ingredient evaluation processes
  • Documenting technical and consumer feedback; communicating results and insights to R&D
  • Demonstrating high level of energy and professionalism when representing the company
  • Assessing our sales processes and continuously questioning how to improve the way we operate


  • Bachelor’s degree (biochemistry, food science and related fields preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in past roles
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong work ethic - prepared to put in extra hours when needed
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skillset
  • Experience within FMCG or food ingredients sectors (advantageous but not essential)
  • Keen to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
