About You:

You live and breathe content creation & social media. You have some experience in social, whether that be on the brand side, agency side, or through your own social channels. You understand both Gen-Z and Millennial audiences and know how to effectively engage with them. You understand how trends come and go and always have your finger on the pulse. You are creative, collaborative, and unafraid to have fun and take risks with our social media channels.

  • 3-4 years of social media and community management experience
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape, specifically TikTok and Instagram
  • The ability to create TikTok and IG Reels videos on your phone smoothly; you’re familiar with video editing tools and comfortable in front of the camera and representing the brand on social media
  • Highly organized, self-starter with copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for what you do – you’re creative and results-oriented and love how social media is at the intersection of both. You’re a wordsmith and strong visual instincts, coupled with an ability to shape or capture a brand’s voice succinctly
  • Understanding of social media KPIs and metrics and how to use them to inform strategy

Job description:

As the social media content producer at unspun, you will be working within the small-but-mighty brand & marketing team.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and has their finger on the pulse of all things culture, fashion, and sustainability. You will curate and create our brand’s stories & personality through meaningful content for all our social media channels and form a key part of building a fashion brand that will change the fashion industry.

You Will:

  • Create, manage, and execute a social media content calendar in alignment with unspun’s marketing calendar
  • Develop social content across video-first platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc) that build our digital presence, drive engagement, and tell our brand story in a culturally relevant way.
  • Work together with the unspun team to make sure that key seasonal product messaging is incorporated into the social calendar
  • Lead our efforts in creating themes and brand stories.
  • Negotiate influencer content creation rates and manage contracts.
  • Build a network of engaged and loyal influencers, both micro and macro, who are fans of unspun and can clearly talk about what makes unspun unique.
  • Stay in the loop and ahead of industry developments, creative trends, and culturally relevant moments to take our social media strategy to the next level.
  • Lead all aspects of community management: interact directly with our community, and respond to all inquiries. Work with our customer service team to deliver a best-in-class experience.
  • Measure and report on social analytics weekly; monitor performance against brand’s KPIs.
