The Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to assist in the expansion of our distribution network globally.

You will be in charge of ensuring smooth operations on our network of second-hand marketplaces and growing our sales to reach our ambitious targets. You will oversee part of our portfolio of second-hand marketplaces, onboard new marketplaces, serve as their point of contact, develop new business from existing partners and actively seek opportunities with new marketplaces.

You will play a pivotal part of our exciting network expansion journey. You will be amongst the first 100 employees and have important opportunities of growth within a company disrupting the industry and which has attracted the attention of the most important players of the industry.

This position is based in Lisbon and you will be reporting to the Sales Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Executive will be required to reach out to different marketplaces, on-board them and make our sales grow on their platform.

By putting in place excellency in the operational processes and solutions for the company, you will:

  • Grow sales, and ensure goals are achieved across your marketplaces.
  • Build and deepen relationships with the marketplaces. Negotiate for more visibility of our account.
  • Design assortment strategies and work closely with the team to push products to each of these marketplaces.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to accelerate sales. Evaluate each initiative success through data analysis.
  • Manage cancellation and returns, and put in place necessary monitoring and initiatives to improve and reduce them.
  • Contribute to the team sales goals and objectives, participating in weekly and monthly meetings.
  • Conduct monthly performance review with each marketplace. Validate and monitor action plans agreed with partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, brand partnership, operations and marketplaces, to lead projects contributing to more efficiency, better customer experience and cost reduction.
  • Engage to new marketplace onboarding project.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in E-commerce Sales, ideally in fashion retail industry 
  • Master’s degree in business or related field preferred 
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiation, conflict management)
  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English (verbal, written)
  • Experience in marketplace is a plus.
  • Experience with the luxury industry is a plus.
