The Role

We are looking for a Fulfilment/3PL Manager to oversee the expansion of our distribution network globally and to manage the relationship with 3PLs. The right candidate should be agile managing external partners, collaborate with internal stakeholders and dedicated to operations excellence.

This position is based in Lisbon and will be reporting to the VP of Operations.


Duties & Responsibilities

Putting in place excellency in the operational processes and solutions for the company. Within this:

 

3PLs Management

 

  • Coordinate and communicates business requirements such as volumes and upcoming campaigns and standards to 3PL, and ensures their successful execution.
  • Oversee 3PLs operational performances by conducting monthly reviews. Identify any trends that may affect performances, and determine actions to be taken.
  • Initiate and implement a continuous improvement plan with each partner aiming to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy by coordinating regular cycle counts and lead yearly stock take. Investigate reasons of discrepancies and build action plan.
  • Participate to budget forecast and closely monitor actuals.
  • Manage invoices reconciliation and coordinate claims and disputes.

 

Project management

 

  • Engage to tender process for new distribution centre: contribute to the elaboration of RFQ documentation - identify potential partners – proposals assessment, negotiation and final decision.
  • Consolidate and assess enhancement requests raised by users (internal system) and coordinate with Product and Tech teams for their planning and deployment. 
  • Lead numerous projects improving our efficiency, customer experience and cost (Digitalization process, packaging, …) 

 

People management

 

  • Lead the team on their day-to-day task
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop team potential

 

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Logistics, ideally in fashion retail industry 
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or related field preferred
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skill set
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiation, conflict management)
  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented
  • Self-starter and autonomous
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English (verbal, written)
  • Experience building and managing successful teams
