Abillion is looking for a  Associate Director of Finance  who will report directly to the CEO, and help establish the company's Finance function.
This opportunity will support a culturally diverse team and strengthen the foundations of a scaling startup where technology meets Sustainability!


  • As the primary Finance contact you will build strong business partner relationships with key business leaders across the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product functions
  • Construct and maintain detailed financial models and be able to communicate their outcomes and make recommendations effectively
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of several key documents for the corporate leadership team, including but not limited to forecast packages, forecast commentary, actuals commentary, risks and opportunities
  • Support preparation of presentation materials for management committees, quarterly and annual reviews, and investor relations
  • As an essential member of the team you will be expected to be flexible and assist with ad-hoc projects



  • Be responsible for the month-end close process, including journal posting, internal reporting, and analysis
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll accounting
  • Preparation of annual reports, and the year-end audit process
  • Ensure compliance with SFRS and GAAP principles
  • Ad hoc accounting tasks or projectsSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
