Congratulations to our winners!

“The Mills Fabrica Pitch Day 2016” saw eight startups pitching their business ideas to a panel of international judges. ORii won the grand prize as well as “The Style Award” voted by the audience. The other audience-vote award, “The Tech Award”, went to MedEXO Robotics. Congratulations!

Orii ~ A smart ring that lets you listen to a phone call and talk to your voice assistant (such as Siri) just by placing your finger on your ear. 

MedEXO Robotics ~ An affordable and multipurpose exoskeleton device which helps Parkinson’s patients live better. 



Besides our winners, the following innovative, passionate and driven techstyle entrepreneurs have presented their brilliant ventures on “Pitch Day 2016” on October 26th.

Clim8 ~ A Shirt to heat you up to the optimal body temperature no matter how cold it is or whatever you are doing. 

Full Print HK ~ An online platform aiming to empower designers to make and sell their own fabric designs in a seamless manner. 

Little Yellow Bird ~ A social enterprise based in Wellington, New Zealand, that provides companies with an ethical and sustainable option when it comes to sourcing uniforms. 

METISA ~ A.I. for fashion retail marketing, focusing on email marketing, backed by predictive machine learning algorithms. 

R-Guardian ~ A B2B solution provider that targets the market of internet of things (IoT) by providing device tracking service. 

whoolala ~ A cross-border shopping platform, focusing on high quality independent Asian fashion at a reasonable price.

The Mills Fabrica presents “Pitch Day 2016 – Calling Tomorrow’s Techstyle Heroes” – a business building contest for startups that intelligently integrate technology and style. Eight finalists with budding businesses at the intersection of textile, fashion and technology will present their ideas in front of a panel of international judges including venture capitalists and savvy entrepreneurs. Grand prize of this challenge includes HKD 100,000 in cash and a chance to join Fabrica’s 12-month incubation pilot program.
